On the 2nd of June 2010, Biotherm was invited to set up a road show, an exhibition of their brand and products from 12.00pm to 2.00pm in front of Student Development Hub.
Booths and counters were assembled the previous day to avoid last minute preparations. Student ambassadors were chosen earlier on to help attract the crowd and to promote the items. Skincare consultants and employees from Biotherm’s marketing department were also present. Throughout the day, games were played and prizes won. At the same time, it was made known that a tutorial will be held the next day.
On the 3rd of June 2010, the same team of consultants made their way to LT12 at 1.30pm. Organizers of the event had extended a helping hand to carry huge boxes of products, buntings, flyers, and all that was necessary. They immediately got to work to get all their materials into its rightful place.
Around 2.15pm, the theater was filled with participants and no time was wasted. A consultant began to introduce herself and shared a summary of the Biotherm’s history. The first fact that was imparted was that everyone’s skin is different and it must be discovered what suits it best.
This tutorial focused mainly on the four basic steps of skincare regimen. Participants were instructed and encouraged to get a firsthand experience by involving and practicing on themselves. Initially, participants were given wipes to clean their faces from dirt.
Next, they used a cleanser to wash their faces. A cooling clay mask is then applied and left on for 5 minutes. The clay mask was removed by water and the last step was to moisturize. Throughout this process, participants were aided by consultants who were simultaneously explaining the benefits of doing so.
The tutorial ended with a question and answer session. This effectively covers tips, reviews on alternate products and treatments and other general skincare. By 3.30pm, the theater was cleaned and everything was returned to its original positions.
