We will be discussing on the following:

- a fundraising project

- the TLCMUN Conference

- community service activities

- EXCO members application

- collection of SGMUN V Conference certificates (for those who attended)

- signing up for the TCSHMUN II Conference (click here for more information)

- collection of RM10 membership fees (this is a one time collection)

Committee Topics:

General Assembly (GA)

• The question of the UN taking measures to achieve its Millennium development goals of annihilating poverty and ending world hunger.

• The question of subsidies given by the UN to countries that possess adequate funds to fund themselves however choose to misdirect them.

• The reduction of the number of nuclear warheads in the world and to encouragecountriesto surrender their nuclear ambitions.

Human Rights Council (HRC)

• The question of whether every person has the right to the uncensored use and access of the internet.

• Combating the defamation of religion and religious intolerance.

• Implementation of measures to end human trafficking and modern day slavery.

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)

• The question of how to proceed with measures to curb global warming and carbon dioxide emissions after Copenhagen.

• The question of exploring methods that encourage third world countries to pursue green sustainable development.

• The question of the discontinuation of the use of persistent organic pollutants and DDT by farmers worldwide.

Security Council (SC)
